Golf Courses in Tahoe, CA

Spectacular Lake Tahoe makes for a surreal setting to one of America's great mountain golf destinations. A drive over the pass from either Reno or Carson Valley reveals a completel shift in climate and topography, featuring golf courses over 5,000 feet in elevation. South Lake Tahoe is home to a collection of large casino hotels, as well as a handful of courses like famed lakefront course Edgewood Tahoe, made famous by its summertime celebrity golf tournament. In the lesser developed north shore, Squaw Valley hosted the 1960 Winter Olympic Games, and nearby mountain town Truckee has emerged as a top destinatoin for both second homes, private clubs and resort courses.
