Play Like a Master at Any of Georgia's Fine Golf Courses
The home state of Bobby Jones AND The Masters, Georgia holds a special place in golf history. While you won’t be able to sneak on the Augusta National golf course, you may be able to buy tickets to watch some of the best golfers in the world compete in April's annual Masters Tournament. Still, with almost 500 statewide courses to choose from, you can still have a peach of good time golfing in the Atlanta-area and beyond. Close to downtown and minutes from the Atlanta airport is Wolf Creek, a friendly Par-72 championship layout where greens fees don't surpass $70.

Savannah's Henderson Golf Club is also an affordable, enjoyable track to test your game and includes the well-respected Savannah Golf school if you're up for some lessons and individual instruction. The Stone Mountain area also offers some challenging golf for all levels and the Stone Mountain Golf Club has more than just breathtaking views from tee to green on both Stonemont and Lakemont courses - it also has a great variety of Par 3s, 4s, and 5s to keep your game sharp and your brain active.
